Under the sponsorship of Jim Cappuccilli. this group aided spirit rallies and games, sold ail sorts of items to raise money, and held a sensational Swap Meet in the parking lot of the school. While Mr. Cappuccilli received a few grey hairs, the girls basked under his antics, beratings and general guidance. Meet on the baseball field be- came a favorite phrase for the girls in the group, and all secretly hoped he would be their exalted leader next year. 230 SSR

« MANY CHANGES Many changes took place in Girls League activi- ties this year. Under advisor Donna Malbon the girls changed many traditional activities with a great deal of success. Their Christmas Formal was held in January this year, and instead of having a Winter Queen only, a Winter King was chosen. At the same time class princesses were matched with class princes also. The Slumber Party was revived, but was held in the spring instead of the fall. The girls also provided their traditional activities, such as guides at Open House and Honor Guards at graduation.
