Buy your sweaters here was a familiar phrase the beginning of the year, as SSR worked to make the entire staff and student body get spirited on Fridays. Under the sponsorship of Jim Cappuccilli. this group aided spirit rallies and games, sold ail sorts of items to raise money, and held a sensational Swap Meet in the parking lot of the school. While Mr. Cappuccilli received a few grey hairs, the girls basked under his antics, beratings and general guidance. Meet on the baseball field be- came a favorite phrase for the girls in the group, and all secretly hoped he would be their exalted leader next year. 230 SSR
