BY ONE STROKE Losing last year ' s league championship by one stroke made the golf team more determined than ever to win the league this year. Mr. Revis, the coach, stated: There will be a very close race with Los Altos for the league championship this year. The team possesses many outstanding players. In the 1981 season the team won many awards and recognitions. Eris Meeks was league champion, placed 3rd in GIF, and placed lOth in the state overall. Aaron Meeks was league runner-up and placed 12nd in GIF. Rob Fernquist and Ken Ikari placed on the all league 2nd team. The most improved golfer on the team is Troy Learning, while Mike Hernan- dez was the Most Valuable JV player last year. This year the team feels their additional experience will enable them to duplicate and improve on last year ' s successes. Golf 97
