Sophomore Class Marla Basfien Becky Blood Roxanne Christensen Sandy Felt We, the sophomores, have finished our years as underclassmen in Rowland Hall. We have passed the stage of preparation and training for leader- ship. We are not the Alpha or the Omega, but in between. Next year we shall begin to participate in the leadership of the student body. Well aware of our forthcoming duties and responsibilities, we, the class of 1965, are eagerly waiting to accept the challenge that is offered to us. Freshmen Class We, the freshmen, have completed nine years of school. What does it mean to us that we are three quarters of the way through the academic alphabet? We have learned, we are learning, we shall learn. The reading, writing, arithmetic courses of our early years have given way to the more advanced studies of liter- ature, history, mathematics. We have learned how to make friends, and we have discovered why we have lost friends. We have learned some difference between right and wrong. Some of us know how to make the best use of our time, but most of us are still looking for fun. We have yet to realize that to live is to learn, and that much knowledge is necessary in this day and age. During the next three years we shall learn the rest of the alphabet, but even that will not be the end. We shall have to form words from the letters we know.
