PROPHECY OF THE BR V Now come the smartly uniformed secret po- lice guarding our President. Officers WILLIAM BACON and DUANE ANDERSON look very tough and imposing as they escort our President to the microphone. President CLARENCE JOHNSON and the first lady KENNA MOOK bring with them Secretary of State NORMA BLOOD, who is the first woman to be appointed Secretary of State. Rhythm and Blues singers JUDY HUNT and LESTER BENNETT dash out on the stage now amidst the roars and screams of todays' teenagers. Their latest hit song is 'Charlie was a Boxer! So What Does That Make George?' JUDY and LES will sing their song later in the eveningg so quiet down now, kids. Here we have the famous star of the new Lone Ranger series, LANCE KELLEY and his faithful Indian scout GARY EVANS. The only actors missing now are Silver and Scout who are undoubtedly out riding the range. The Betty Crocker of today is standing before our camera now. It's JOAN READ with two of her assistants, CAROL TUTTLE and BONNIE LAW. CAROL and BONNIE have to taste all the recipes JOAN invents. Lucky girls, for JOAN'S recipes are out of this world. I see all feminine eyes turning toward our next visitors, MISS KAY KIRK and her flying glamor girls BRENDA MOONEY, and RITA KUHN. These girls operate the Sissy Flying School and Airport in New York. Later in the show Kay will give you ladies some pointers on what to wear while flying. Next is BARBARA KASTO, author and Pulit- zer-prize-winner for her book It's a Great Life if You Don't Weaken. Police-chief RICHARD COLE is coming in now! Being police-chief of New York City is no easy task, and to protect himself RICHARD has brought two body guards FRED BAIRD and DA- VID BALDWIN. Also in the party is Mayor HARRY SEIBERT from Conneaut, Ohio, who is another member of this famous class of 1958. Ocean swimmer VONNA THOMPSON steps into the camera range now. Recently VONNA swam from New York to London-nonstop, of course. When asked how she accomplished this feat, Vonna replied, I swam! Now some of my favorite people are coming through the door JANET HICKS, JUNE WAL- FORD, MARY BAIRD, and FRANCES RUDLER. They opened the Risky Restaurant on Fifth Ave- nue where the specialty is Big Girls, named after those famous Big Boy hamburgers of long ago. Cattle baron, DON HOGLE is taking his bow! DON with the help of his ranchhands DICK TOWNE, GEORGE WHITE, CHUCK LAIRD, and BILL CARLSON is still trying to make brown cows produce chocolate milk. And now, folks, I see it's nearly midnight, so raise your horns and welcome 1979 as we sing Old Lang Syne. That noise becomes deafening when one per- sistant ring penetrates my consciousness. It's my alarm clock! Ho, hum! Time to get up and leave my beautiful dream of the future. Today is grad- uation day and, though my classmates may never be famous in reality, in dreams they can reach the top. BARBARA PAULLIN
