I themes found herself unemplox ed The situatlon was soon solxed because GRETA BRISTOL and MARY ANN BUKI hlred her as an lnstructor for their BUKI BRISTOL BUSINESS SCHOOL FOR BACKWARD GIRLS There are manv members of our former class who haxe risen to renown af er leaxmg our fair city Have you heard of the successful bus1ness woman of our lass Yes 1lS NELA LITWILER who has created a perfume which IS sweeping America This aromatic wonder is a cross between Irrestible and Temptation The name Irritation NELA has had sexeral lawsults corcering this unusual trade nark but they have been ablv handled by her lawyel JIM WHITMAN who al xaws manages to win his cases by swaylng the women jurors with hls Southern orawl Speaking of creative talent we had all known that VERYL COLBY had a decided talent in the field of art but we had never dreamed that she would turn to sculpturmg She has wrltten a book about the lives of famous sculptors entitled THE CHISELERS Another person who has made a name for hlmself as a true ar tist is the celebrated Shakespearian actor TOM PICARD who is noted for his line Hy Dearest Love taken from Macbeth It seems impossible that merely read mg Ylacbeth in literature class was such an inspiration Our class IS also represented ln the field of sports You probably have heard of the much publicized football player GORDON GRIFFEY whose broken bones re personally keeping Johnson 'Sz Johnson ln bus1ness Then there IS the world famous wrestler JOVIAL JAMES FROM JERSEY who is none other than JAMES was exceptional JIM declded that he had all It takes to be a wrestler His manager LES USHER spends most of his time buying llniment for the bone crusher And to think that one of our class has actually gone to Hollvwoodl Its none cther than GARY EVANS You ve heard of the Body the Shape and the Voice' Well GARY is the Eyebrows His wardrobe designer JACK SPECHT whom we nemember in high school because of his loud shirts has done much to make GARY popular GARYS suits are usually created ln JACKS favorite colors shocking orange and chartreuse with accents ln lavender and scarlet I was really astounded when I heard about the achievements of some of mx colleagues in the Music world When the Music Department of Rowe High traveled to Springfield Ohio SHIRLEY REDDINGS caree1 was decided she would be come a dancer Her chubblness has gained for her the stage name of The Bouncing Ballerina IRENE OLSON has set some sort of record too she is the only concert 1Jlal'llSl who has toured the country with a hillbilly band I wonder lf you have heard the new song written by those fussy feminine experts JIM and TOM KING which promised to be another Mule Tram The t1tle of the song IS Id Rather Dance V ith The Dolly With A Nose Like A Polly Than Drag With A Hag With A Shape Like A Bag Oh well were entitled to our own idea of harmony and dissonnance Oh what excltment' what 'adxenture and what an enjovable day But now that I am at home agaln I must put aside the pleasant memories and return to ex erwday reality In the future we shall each travel our separate path through life, but wheres er we may go we shall always have a place in our hearts for our unfor aettable friends from Rowe High School is .
