Senior Class History It seems only a few short years ago that this Class of '51 took its first big step toward these days just before graduation. Here we stand at the top of those twelve steps-ready to start out into an dult life of our own choosing-industry. college. or the armed forces. Plenty of talent was shown in these intramural games with many close, hard-fought games. As in the past the Biology Club members were divided into teams to opera e the movie projector. Each team took its turn in the operation of the machine and also in its upkeep. The film strip projector gift to the school by the class of '48 was also opera cd by thc club members. The micro-projector was extensively used and numerou' microscopic specimens were brought in and studied by the members. Several field trips were taken along Conneaut Creek to study the flora and laura of this locality. Soil erosion was observed and stressed. Posters for the Biology room were constructed by the members. Each member had extensive practice using the microscopes and hand lenses. And also brought in numerous specimens for constructing slides which were thor- oughly studied. Each member brought a biological article of national or international import- ance to add to the Biology Scrapbook for which articles have been gathered for the past eleven years. V A far better attitude has been acquired for Biology due to the activities of the Biology Club during this school year.
