Senior Class Poem Our ship has sailed the sheltered bay Beneath a clear blue sky; The vast unknown ocean lies just beyond So farewell, to dear Rowe High. We climbed aboard in '42, Our hopes and spirits high, From Amboy, Rowe, and Farnham too Resolved to do or die. We'll cherish our days with the Blue and Gold As Vikings—38 strong. We were a happy frol icing crew; Now alone—we'll sail along. The sky may be low, the waves roll high Upon this ocean of life; One ship may go east, another west On a course of joy or strife. Our ship has sailed the sheltered bay Beneath a clear blue sky; To our friends, our teachers, our dear senior room. We breathe our last good-bye. Bessie Ring
