Class Allan Punkar as vice president; Mildred Kultti, secretary; and Margaret Dewey, treasurer. With Mr. Deevers help we decided to try our talents in some one act plays, our efforts turned out to be “Be Home at Midnight’’ and “Christmas Carol.” After accomplishing this, we sponsored a St. Patrick’s Party. To most of us the sophomore year seemed dull, being in between the lowly freshman and lofty junior classes; so we decided to brighten things up by keeping ourselves occupied with school activities. Thus the days sped by and, before we knew it, low and behold we were Juniors! A surprise awaited our arrival—we had Mrs. McCague. the new English instructor for our home room overseer. The fifty-two of us finally got our heads together with Mr. Ward, our home room teacher, and worked out a little scheme which turned out to be a skating party for the high school. All through the year of 1942-43 we viewed the study hall, with awe and speculation and the following fall our dreams came true as we settled down as sophomores with Mr. Honoer to T'i'ie us. Our sophomore year was very promising, having Ray McVoy as our president;
