- THE LADYRQWE The Lag1ysRoWE is a mightyship ' Andfmany a Sea! did she whipg She has sailed the' Pacific And the great Atlantic, - And to me she's beautiful As the liner'Titanic. Y She has no lounge or cocktail bars, ' But she has her battle starsg i She's sailed in the waters of Korea, Japan, And many another foreign land -- i But now with guns that bark no more While 4there's peace on the distant shore. She stands out proudly in her haze grey coat, And in my heart she will ever float -- For wherever she may be, wherever she may go, There's no ship so proud as the lady ROWE! ' ' By Seaman Fred L.
