The criteria torseléction included: Scholastic Achievement, both in the classroom and clinical area of the hospital. Leadership abilities demonstrated by active participation in School and Community functions. An attitude, on and off duty, which befits her profession. Karen has demonstrated she is worthy of such an honor by her: Personal example of interest and enthusiasm for her chosen profession. Understanding of restraints and ideals. Sense of discipline.
