CLASS PROPHECY Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is WMRH broadcasting from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Welcome to the 1973 World's Fair. We'll try to inform you of the activities here as they happen. As we browse among the exhibits, maybe we'll find a spectator to view this great fair with us. Let's talk to this brown- eyed young woman. What is your name? Iam Mrs. Margaret Gordon. Wasn't it your husband who drew up the blueprints for the staging of this great rainy! Yes, this was a special project of his. Would you like me to show you around? I have some special friends here whom I would like you to meet. That's great! Pick out what you think will interest our listeners most. This is like a class reunion for me. All my classmates from nursing school are here--at least, I think they are. I don't know about Judy. We graduated from Rowan Memorial Hospital in that great All-America City, Salisbury, N. C. in 1963--although I hate to tell you how old I am. Let's meet the President of your Senior Class. Is she here? Yes, she is here with her 26 children; however, all of these are not hers. She and her husband manage an orphanage for underprivileged children. I would like you to meet the popular girl we knew as Donna Shue. Hi, Margie! Aren't my children lovely? Even though only two of them are mine, I love all of them. I'm sure you do. We always knew you were the motherly type. Say, Donna, isn't that Smith over there with those dogs? Yes, she treats the pups and Robbie trains them. She and her husband run an ex- clusive canine hospital and training center in Alaska. I hear their star dog is named Dani Speaking of animals--aren't those beautiful horses and lovely riders? That woman on the lead horse was also in our class. She is Jane Shuping. Next to nursing, I believe horses are her second love. You had some attractive girls in your class. Why, thank you. Speaking of attractive girls, the girl voted most attractive in our class is over there at the Geology exhibit. Yes, the one in blue jeans, sweat shirt and baseball cap. I'm sure that's Gerry there beside her with the big smile. She keeps him in good health and spirit while he collects rocks for the students in his classes at Harvard. We haven't met this Judy you mentioned previously. Is she here? Yes, she just flew in. We were fearful, as usual, that she wouldn't make it. You see, she is now in India as a medical missionary. She's the red head with that group in front of the nursing exhibit. Those girls are her students at the school of nursing 13
