7: MY GAP It's only a piece of white muslin Perched on the top of my head, Its value to some may mean nothing, To me it's a symbol instead. A symbol of hope, cheer, and comfort To those who are suffering and ill. To me it gives strength unbelieving My work to perform with a will! Sometimes I am discouraged, and disheartened; My tasks seem so hopeless to me. My cap seems to speak of a promise Of things I so want to be! LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Class of 1961, being of sound mind and realizing the eminence of our de- parture from Rowan Memorial Hospital, do hereby publish this our last will and testa- ment. ARTICLE I To the School of Nursing, we leave our appreciation for making it possible for us to reach our goal--as graduate nurses, ARTIGLEAL To the faculty, we leave our gratitude for their guidance and patience during our course of study. ARTICLE III To the doctors and nurses, for their services too numerous to mention, we leave our greatest admiration and respect. ARTICLE IV To the Housemothers, who so carefully watched over us, we leave our sincere thanks, ARGU Gsm To our class advisor, Miss Suggs, we leave our deepest appreciation for all the many difficulties through which she has guided us.
