IN @ RIG AS 5.@ galGHhsS Left to right! BETTY GOODMAN, BETTY SELLERS, COLLEEN SMITH Yes, being a Junior was the one desire that we had looked forward to since we entered training. That was the time we were relieved of our quiet studies, and most of all we were that much nearer to that white uniform and black band. We had taken one step more toward that glorious horizon and that sunset of tomorrow. “Now as we look forward to that coming day We find that tomorrow is now on its way, So being a Junior is only a step, To dreams of the future, and memories we've kept.”

Gi bom VAN OR EI@R RS Left to right: GWYN CULP, President; ANN DEAN, Vice-President; BETTY SMITH, Secretary; GAIL KEY, Treasurer. Climbing our stairway of dreams and fortunes, we the Fresh- man Class, grasp each rung on the ladder with pride and dig- nity, knowing we have taken another step toward a white uniform and diploma. How well we remember September 4, 1956, the day we en- tered Rowan School of Nursing; and the road has been rocky and rigid since; but our fun and laughter, our tears and sorrow have told us: Tomorrow has a goal worth seeking As a rainbow has a golden end, Holding our dreams of the future Enhancing them toward each bend. So as we climb our ladder upward And the time marches past, We'll grasp our treasures with dignity When we have reached our goal at last.” ANN GETTYS
