That was the time we were relieved of our quiet studies, and most of all we were that much nearer to that white uniform and black band. We had taken one step more toward that glorious horizon and that sunset of tomorrow. “Now as we look forward to that coming day We find that tomorrow is now on its way, So being a Junior is only a step, To dreams of the future, and memories we've kept.”

LAST WILES ANDRES ee viel ia We, the Senior Class of Rowan Memorial Hospital, being of sound body and fairly stable minds, having seen signs and symptoms of our approaching graduation, do hereby deem it necessary to write our last will and testament. I. . To our Parents: For their loving caretanesidit aruer we leave our hopes, that our lives may be as successful, as their fondest dreams would have them to be. Il. To Rowan Memorial Hospital: We leave our deepest re- spect and admiration for three years of wonderful memories, and for helping us to achieve this “our Graduation Day”. Ill. To the Doctors: We leave our heartfelt gratitude for their untiring efforts in trying to increase our wisdom, and helping us to become good professional nurses. IV. Tothe Nurses: We leave our successors, the Junior Class, hoping that they will not walk off with the narcotic keys as many times as we did. I, Helen Caudle, do hereby leave my ability to stay up twenty hours out of twenty-four, without any untoward effects, to Ver- nonccd Crisco. I, Jane Edwards, leave my love for nursing to Colleen Smith, hoping that she will derive as much satisfaction from it as I have. I, Sonja Strait, bequeath my ability to leave care studies until the last minute to anyone who dares. I, Cookie Mochida, being a selfish person, have decided to take all my belongings with me! I, Ann Wright, will my ability to graduate from nursing in four years to Betty Goodman, who seems to need it. I, Pat Miller, leave my position as editor of the ‘White Cap” to the next editor in hopes that she will not have to struggle like aids I, Rachel Hedrick, will my ability to stay awake in Senior Seminars to anyone who can. I, Elsie Lankford, leave my love for First East to Marion Grant in hopes that she gets to work there as much as I| have. I, Marie Powers, bequeath the President's seat to the next Student Body President, with best wishes for a successful year. I, Lois Smith, leave my dirty shoes to Betty Sellers. Finally, we the Senior Class of 1957, do constitute and declare the’ Senior Glass of 1957 1o be the executers of this ounlastawall and testament.
