rf 'Q z 4' feb. ll-yoga, beauty, and inner peace is a way of life for peter max. the young, long-haired man whose art appears everywhere from telephone books to beach towels, spoke to about 200 in esby gym, feb. ll. his philos- ophy is to take a product or anything shown in public and put something beautiful on it, for people to see, not to sell the product. the evening seemed to be a running dialogue between max and a scott mcdonald on the ioys of yoga. max talked of the difficulties of getting into meditation, but also of its rewards. he said that through the tranquility of yoga, he is able to let his art flow naturally never planning anything. fir'

the killing of sister george was pre- sented by the gsc lab theater during ian 27-31. the play follows three weeks in the lite of jane sister george buchridge. george, as she is called, is afraid of losing her acting job as a motorbiking visiting nurse on a bbc radio serial. the play centers on her lite with a lesbian roommate as well as her attempts to keep her iob. those attempts, along with the gsc produc- tion itself, were a deadly struggle.
