CLASS ADVISERS A class blessed with efficient and conscien- tious officers is indeed fortunate. However, it cannot succeed without the understanding and untiring efforts of its class advisers. In our Junior year, we elected Mr. George Reinfeld, a truly strong and dynamic person- ality, to be our adviser. His insight and initia- tive, both as a counselor and a professor, stirred and strengthened dormant leadership capabilities within our class. His unusual talents for things literary were unmistakeably revealed in the guiding of the production of the i958 Oak and superior publications of our growing college. ln l957, Mr. Clarence Miller was chosen to share in the advisership of our class. He, too, has been a great asset in influencing our futures. His high ideals and personal character set an excellent example for all of us. His out- standing musical abilities have been evidenced in his direction of our Senior Class production and in the advancements in the college music program. 'Wy DR. DOROTHY MIERZWA MISS MARY COLVEY i l E i Mr. Clarence Miller, Mr. George Reinfeld. Decisions were made, summer ended, and col- lege began. We embarked upon a four-year iourney, striving for independence but lacking security. Our future was dependent upon careful guidance. Instrumental in the rudimentary stages of our college life was Dprothy Mierzwa. With her help, we formulated a class unity built on high standards. Another person who played an integral part in our development was Miss Mary Colvey. Her many philosophies are rooted deep within us. She en- couraged and fostered the expansion of our abili- ties. The Class of 1958 is indeed grateful to those two friends As a class, we are gratefully indebted to these two outstanding faculty members. Through their friendship and guidance, we have grown immea- surably not only as a class but as mature individuals.
