y e ' ov, ' a. Representing the administration we have pictured the president of the Faculty Associa- tion, Mr. Samuel Porch, and Harvey Hawn, president of the Student Government Associa- tion. It is good to know that here at college our faculty and students work cooperatively on many matters.

T i f mis aim n m u The vast expanse of the Ath- letic held gives ample room for all sports events, as well as an archery range, fireplace and picnic space. This doorway is the favorite spot for spring fever victims or men for those between class smokes. It is probably the most used entrance. Each dormitory unit has its own living room. Here by the fireplace or piano can be found girls enjoying their home away from home.

In Dr. Bunce we recognize the quali- ties of leadership that are necessary to make a successful administrator. He is a man of honesty, integrity and outstanding ability. He has proved to be a friend as well as a leader to us, and to the faculty. Meeting with the Student Council, supervising student teachers, making schedules and supervising assemblies are only a few of his duties. Besides his many responsibilities as President of the college, Dr. Bunce finds time for lecturing in the state. He is an active member of the Rotary Club. The Class of 1951 is proud to have had the opportunity of knowing and work- ing with Dr. Bunce. TO THE STUDENTS AND STAFF: Again it is my pleasure to extend greetings to all of you. A yearbook such as this, really is a symbol of our College because it is the result of co- operative planning with an ideal in mind, of good leadership and of intensive, consci- entious work on the part of many people. This has been a good college year at Glass- boro. We have had a well balanced group of fine students, most of whom will make good teachers. Our athletic teams have done well and our social affairs have been well organ- ized and pleasurable to attend. Last, but by no means least, the academic attainment of students has been good. As President, I appreciate your fine co- operation and trust. Sincerely yours, EDGAR F. BUNCE
