hockey team co-coaches Black and blue is not the latest shade in stockings, but the Girls ' Hockey team certainly wishes it were. Since hockey is the major girls ' intercollegiate sport, the hockey femmes have had to keep the women ' s star bright by hard work and victory. With Miss Dooney ' s buoyant and sparkling personality and Mr. Esby ' s big cigar and boxes of candy, the incentive was naturally pres- ent. The fight was in the girls and victory has been theirs. The varsity games that once we knew have changed to intra- murals. The bus trips to Rosemont, Temple, and Montclair with orange slices, tea and cookies have been forsaken, but cer- tainly not forgotten. We will always remember Scull ' s sticks, White ' s slam, Schregler ' s block, and certainly Mrs. Frey ' s Butch. Our Senior enthusiasts throughout the years have been Connie Scull, Doris Earley, Rosemary Sharpless, Edith Patterson, Jennie Mokrynski, Dorothy Schregler, Ellen White, Eleanor Cicerone, Cynetta Binder, Marie Leitch, Lillian Changlin, Christine Kennedy, Josephine Lalli, Mildred Reynolds, and our manager, Bea Searles.
