They have no pride in their work, in their jobs or in the products they are making. We don't agree. We know it is not true at Cannon. Productivity, quality and customer ser- vice - the basics for manufacturing and selling consumer goods - continue to im- prove. . .rapidly. To encourage and recognize individual employees whose work is consistently outstanding, they are now featured each month on the front page of the company newspaper. How are they presented? As THE PRIDE OF CANNON, of course. Some of the winners are shown above at their jobs. This is only one of many innovative ideas of David H. Murdock, the dynaniic new owner of Cannon Mills Company. He seeks to make Cannon the most modern, produc- tive and cost-effective textile company in the U.S. He, and the people of Cannon, are working hard together to achieve that goal. And they are doing it - if you will par- don the expression - with great pride! . iw r Q T ik ... 1 5' Q- xml . 'Z ?15 .7?.-.Div-1-E, E2 A ' IRTY'-1. .. , FT.i,,.,,,Q ,I g gwgmil .LL llg ,Fi ..
