FFA BANQUET The annual FFA banquet was held on April 28, with the mothers attending for the 1st time. Dan Lehmann, National FFA President, gave the keynote address, entitled One Mind, One Body, One Life. Many degrees and awards were presented, including: Honorary Chapter Farmer Degrees to Gerald Douglass and Ed Bowman, Chapter Sweetheart trophy to Chris Peterson, Star Green-hand Award to Bill Marshall, Illinois Foundation certificates to Lee Implement, Oneida Farmers Co-op, and Oneida Implement and a plaque of appreciation to Mr. Moffitt from the Ag IV class.

Everyone enjoyed the music by the 'Next to None' Sweetheart Dance The R.O.V.A. F.H.A. Chapter sponsored a Sweetheart dance on February 6 in the cafetorium. Members of the F.H.A. decorated the cafetorium with red and white streamers and provided the refreshments for the evening. The highlight of the night was the coronation of Miss Sweetheart, Wendy Foster and Mr. Sweetheart, Bill Dill-beck.

FHA The annual Mother-Daughter Banquet was held May 12, in the cafetorium. The evening started with the meal served by the Ontario Homemakers Extension. Mrs. Gustafson showed slides and talked about her trip to Africa. Then a few F.H.A. girls presented a style show by modeling garments they had made at home and in class. Karen Miller served as mistress of ceremonies, and all seniors were recognized during the program and presented corsages. The evening was concluded by the installation ceremony, with Penny Rednour installed as new president.
