The Royal Court: King, Bob Paquin and Queen, Cheryl Johnson; Senior attendants, Linda Tracy and Steve Dennison; Junior attendants, Carol Martin and Alvin Brandenberg; Sophomore attendants, Sandy Dennis and Jeff Hatch; Freshmen attendants, Steve Haynes and Jan Shepherd. The Student Council chose the theme Tomorrow land for the homecoming October 6th and 7th. Friday afternoon the activities began with the judging of skits, cheers, band music, and pep talks. That night the game against the Knoxville Blue Bullets began after the traditional snake dance and burning of the dummy. During the half-time King Bob, Queen Cheryl, and their court were presented to the fans and student body to reign over the remainder of the game. The king and queen reigned over the dance Saturday night which climaxed the homecoming activities of 1966. 13
