Junior Editor Trudy Johnson Junior Editor Carol Rednour Senior Editor Suzie Dennis Many fond memories of the 1965-66 school year are shared by the students of old R.O.V.A. High. Classes began late in August, and we all had to adjust to new courses and teachers and to become familiar with the faces of 80 new freshmen. Along with our memories of fall come those of the big homecoming game, dance, and parade. The basketball team showed considerable improvement. They ended the season with a Little Six record of 4 wins and 6 losses. The Student Council sponsored our first semi-formal winter ball late in January. In February the voters of the district passed a bond issue to finance a new lunch room and auditorium. The building will be ready for use in the fall of 1966. Galva High School was admitted into the Little Six Conference this year. During the months of February, March, April, and May the student body participated in the Sadie Hawkins Dance, the Farmer's Ball, the all school play, the long awaited Junior-Senior Prom, and the musical. Graduation rolled around May J7 to complete the scrapbook of high school memories for the seniors and turn the thoughts of those who are left behind to the events of next year.
