'QQ The yunlor class at ROVA Senior High has had two vears in which to prepare itself for the role which it will take as next vears graduating class To make all necessarv prepar ations thev needed officers to guide them those who were willing to work when some Job wxs expected to be done Officers elected were President Maynard Adams Vice President Jeannie Moe becretary Marilyn bomberger Treasurer Marilyn Moody tMary Edwards replaced Marilyn in this position during the second semester! Reporter Lois Nicbly monds Their sponsor w is Miss Lorraine Soucek The Junior year has always been considered a busy one and this year was mdeed an example A school dance was sponsored ROY A shirts and hats were sold a class play was presented in the spring and plans were made for the Junior S mol Banquet which was held ln Galesburg also in the spring However not all their time was spent working and studying they had many enjoyable moments too Manv ewents of the past wear will make wonderful memories later on The dances, the basketball and foot ball games track meets and assem bhes will be remembeled as a part of high school llfe here These were the important events which took place durmg 1949 50, but what 1951 has to offer also is of great importance. New officers will be elected, and they will haye an equal chance in leading the Juniors.
