1981 - 1982 ROUNDUP HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP, MONTANA Friends We reach back into the crystal memories Of long ago yesterdays And recall the innocence, love, and heartbreak With all our childish ways. Spinning and whirling, the world turns on, Too fast at times it seems, | And with the harshness of reality | We too easily lose our dreams. Where has the time gone? What will - . We Be? I The answers lie within ourselves, Just waiting to be free. On August 21, 1981, just as Dea was about to embark onto a very demanding senior year, her dad was killed when he was struck by lightning while working on a combine at the family ranch south of Mus- selshell. Gerald O’Neill Turley was also a very special person, devoted to his family and to the land which provided the quality of life the entire family enjoyed. This courageous man is missed, but his family are a fitting tribute to him. Deanna has certainly shown us that the Turley family are made of the fabric of greatness. She has shown great leadership, scholarship and courage. She has undertaken awe- some responsibilities and quietly worked at each unto comple- tion. Her yearbook staff and advisor wish her much success and happiness as she begins her studies at Carroll College in chemi- cal engineering. We thank her family for sharing her with us these last few years and we honor the memory of her dad whom she loved and admired. Gerald O’Neill Turley 97 98 99 100
