Ah--the priv- ileges of being upperclassmen! ! CLASS FLOWER: White Rose CLASS COLORS: Lavender and Silver CLASS MOTTO: We find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand as in what direction we are moving. The Class of 1965 has done much to make its four years at RHS memorable ones. Not only are they the largest in quantity (78), but the highest in quality. They won the Homecoming float contest this year with their Sink 'Em Panthers and the Junior Prom, Twilight Zone, was con- sidered one of the best proms ever put on. In order to improve the school they have donated one of the lights for the football field to make night games possible. Here's to the best class ever! 23 IN MEMORIAM This page is dedicated to the memory of Roger Robert who died September 26, 1964. My Father in Heaven, help me never to forget Thy love to me. It comes with the light of morning, and it remains with the light of the stars of the night. It looks up to me in the beauty of the flowers. It shines upon me in the smile of a friend. All beautiful tilings are the gifts of Thy love. Help me to be thankful and link every beautiful thing with Thee. Amen. John Henry Jowell 24 JUNIORS Class officers: Connie Robbins, Treas. ; Carol Lynch, V. P. ; Louise Picchioni, Rep. ; Tom Jellar, Pres. ; Mickey Johnson, Rep. ; Marcia Me- Caffree, Sec. The class of '66 set a record high in magazine sales this year. Their total has never been topped. The class also put on the prom for the seniors on May first. The theme was Evening in Paris. It was during this year that the class donated funds to pay for two light poles on the football field. The sophomores received first place in the School Spirit Skit contest this year. They have also been the fad-starters this year. Starting with the girls covering the insides of their lockers with Beattie pictures, they then pro- ceeded to wear boys' tennis shoes-better known as froggy doos -adding their own special touch of pastel-colored shoe laces. Some of the boys are al90 minus loops off their shirts. Wonder what they'll come, up with next year?
