CUZ The student band is one of our most outstanding music activities. All are thrilled when they see this group marching down the street with their bright colored uniforms, the drums beating. and the horns blowing with everyone in step. The B.M.O.H.S. band has proven to be a great success owing to the efforts of the director, Mr. Stump. Every student is glad he can be a mem- ber of this organization, especially when playing for parades or festivals. During the year the band has had many opportunities to play pub- licly. It played for festivals in McVeytown and for the Halloween parades here and at Mount Union. It also played for the Grange Hall at Strode:-s Mills. At the YMCA gymnastics demonstration the band gave a brief con- cert. It also gave a spring concert and participated in the Mifilin County Band Festival.
