ASHTON, MARY LOU Mary Lou was born in Rotan on Jan 31 1941 Durmg high school she was ln the FTA FHA Choral Club Rodeo Club and the Honor Socxety She was Sec of D1st IV m FHA her Soph year and was V P of the club her Jr and Sr years She was a twxrler her first three years lettered 1n basketball four years and played volleyball Her Jr received the band award and her state degree in FHA was on the Office Staff and was 1n the Jr Play Her Sr year she was elected Band Sweetheart was Drurn Major and was on the Annual Staff Mary Lou plans to enter H S U next fall BLOUNT JIM Jxm was born in Rotan ln 1941 He has attended the Rotan schools for twelve years He was in the band his Freshman year Jim played football all four years in high school and was one of the captains his Senior year He was football hero and received All Dzstrict tackle honor his Senior year He ran track all four years of hmgh school He was zn the Rodeo Club his Junior year and was elected Beast his Senior year BENNETT CHARLES CHRISTIAN PAUL Charles was born June 2 1941 in Rotan He has gone to school ln Rotan for twelve years Charles played football all four years in hxgh school He played basketball his Freshmanand Junior years and played baseball his Fresh man year and was baseball manager his Jumor year He ran track four years and was State FFA Delegate 1958 Beast He belonged to the Rodeo Club three years Charles plans to attend college upon graduation Paul was born January 8 1941 ln Palestxne Texas He had attended three different high schools Paul attended Rotan High School since his Junior year He played basket ball for three years andbaseball for two years Paul plans to attend college 1 ,. GREGORY, SHIRLEY HAMLIN LARRY Shirley was born in Larnesa Texas on September Z 1941 She attended Roby school before moving here in the Eighth grade She was a member of the Spanish Club and the Library Staff during her Freshman year She also parti cipated in basketball during her Freshman year Shirley has been a member of the FHA all through High School In her Freshman through Jxmior years' she was a member of the Cheering Section and a member of the Choral Club Her Senior year she was the Artut on the Annual Staff Shirley plans to marry N G Underwood Larry was born September ll l94l in Rotan Texas He went to school in Rotan for seven years He then moved to Andrews Texas and attended school there four years Larry returned to Rotan inAugust 1958 He ran track for one year Larry has no deiimte plans for the future GRUBEN. BILLY MAX Billy Max was born in Rotan 1941 but went to school in McCaulley until he moved to Rotan ln the Seventh grade He was in the Spanish Club his Freshman year and in the Rodeo Club his Sophomore year He has been active in the FFA all of his High School years He was on the Stu dent Council b1s Sophomore year and a member of the Annual Staff his Semor year HARTSFIELD Hallie was bornin Stephenville ln 1941 Schools she attended are Hobbs Godley and Rotan While inRotanI-ligh School she has belong to Choral Club, FHA Club Student Council Honor Society FTA Cheering Section Pep Squad and Rodeo Club Hallie served as an officer her Junior and Senior years in the Pep Squad She has been Reporter for her Jnmior and Senior years and Pres of the Freshman class Hallie was elected Soph class Beauty and Pep Squad Halloween Queen candidate her Junior year Hallie married Wayne Poer December 6 4' x , HALLIE ,
