CORN Supervisor of Physical Education Roswell High School is indeed fortunate to have Poe Corn. He has seen that a well rounded athletic program has been established and maintained throughout the Roswell Schools. Working with him are such fine men as Dewey Johnson, in charge of football and track, Bill Ayres for baseball, Stan Kubiak for golf and tennis, Gene O'Neal for football, baseball, and track at the Junior High School. Miss Shirley Nagel is in charge of the girls' athletic program. Each of these is doing a fine job in helping students and promoting sports in Roswell. Other than Junior and Senior High School's athletic activities, he is director of physical education in the grade schools. Miss Capps and Miss Smith, under his supervision, have three schools each of which are visited weekly. All that has been accomplished and will be accomplished is due to the patient guidance of COACH CORN I 9' 6925 0YOTE 9 ept 5 Los Cruces T I2 Ysleta Texas 19 Arte 13 26 St Marys 7 Oct 3 Hobbs so Prruvs - 21' N 17 Tln'1um'alrl - 7- 24 Clovis - 20- 31 NMMI Colts - 6-Nov. 7 Allulqlu-l'qll1 la- M 27 l1zll'lslrz14l - - - lhm 6 8 00 0 8 00 2 'I'In-rv-0 7:30-Zl 7:30-0 7:30-8 'l'ln-rw-T QW DORRIS DREW Senior Cheerleader -0. 36- ,ff I ,-. :xv X L 5.5, ,YN NANCY GENTRY Junior Cheerleader SALLY ESPINOSA Head Cheerleader A.. Aggies in the Spring of '52, adopted a motto Learn what to do by studying-how to do by doing. From that conception has sprung the R.H.S. Aggie Club of today. Their reasons for organizing4to perform the iobs of agriculture as well as study them, to acquaint the members with a first hand knowledge of local agencies, facilities, and techniquesg to build up a public recognition of the Agricul- tural Department in the Roswell area as well as within the schoolg and to develop club and members culturally and socially as well as professionally. The Aggies accomplish these goals through their own selective arrangements for programs and activity meetings. Voluntarily, -the members acquire a better knowledge of community life. 1 x 'I' w l V!
