IT Alu 44 P11IU1'iEI1lI He he of fhcm fhuf have Icff ll IHIHN4 behiml them. Our factory has lost a sincere friend and a vital member of our Board of Designers in the death of Mr. A. D. Jones on llecember 1943. Since 1932 Mr. Jones had been a member of the Board keenly interested in the progress of the coming World Citizens. lVlr. Jones was a Designer who un- derstood the conditions to which he must adapt his plans, and who was at all times considerate in the means he used to bring about most effectively their execution. His place cannot easily be filled, for his endeavors have left a credit to his memory that will not soon be forgotten. BRUCE FLEGAL A. D. JONES He who flies in youth is fflI'Ul'c l1 by the gods. It was a great shock to learn of the untimely death of Bruce, a Master-crafts- man worthy of the name, for he exem- plified in his everyday life a manner which teemed with the confidence he had in his fellow workers--a manner that displayed the friendliness of his striking personality. Bruce lived only seventeen years, but in that short span he found out what it takes some people a lifetime to discover. Bruce learned how to live. He got along with everyone, He showed a way which, if heeded, can help others to find them- selves. And he died as he had lived- doing something for someone else. To- day Bruce is working in a different kind of Factory-one that takes only World Fitizens. Page
