Quickly co- editors and committees are selected and away they go. The dummy is laid out. the cover picked, assign- ments made, and each team moves into action. The business crew sends out letters and visits store after store. Subscription collectors go to work. The editors spend long hours after school sorting pictures, sketching pages, and composing write-ups. All the credit for these literary gems belongs to ROW I-Eleanore Weightman, Fay Owens. Roberta Williams ROW II- Sally Crusan, Ioan Walters, Faye Sarber ROW III --Marlene Filander, Kathleen Kriston, lean Ann King them. They assign, cajole, plead, and finally the work of the committees becomes organized. Sit still, and Eyes over this way, shout the photography committee as they direct traffic on picture days. Deadlines close ing Mr. Mattee's room turns into a beehive. captioning proves hi- larious, and when the plates, write-ups, and dum- my are shipped to the publisher, all breathe a sigh of reliel. But it was fun, and we sincerely hope you will enjoy the product of our efforts.
