When the school bells pealed forth the l953-54 term, 144 sophomores put their heads together to elect their officers and two very capable sponsors, Mrs. Wood and Miss Bamiord, to advise and direct their undertakings. The class didn't wait long to prove their worth. The highlight ol the year for the group was the Sweetheart Frolic. Wasn't Bernie Edwards' Orches- tra smooth? Truly the sophomores have proven themselves ambitious, and their success is evident.
