J , 1'!,faaQ'Wii, W , wfffin .. . ,WAX RCDSSVILLE JUNIOR HIGH REBEL BAN For the Rossville Junior High Band, 61-62 has been another in a long line of successful years. The band has performed pre-game shows at all home football games and halftime shows at North Whitfield and the Rossville City game. Despite the lack of a good practice field and enough practice time, the band marched proudly in a parade which was followed by the Chattanooga Tri State Band Festival. A rating of excellent was received there. Also, Drum Major Glenda Clark was awarded an outstanding Drum Major Trophy. In December the Band presented its annual Christmas Concert. It was a success in spite of the bad weather. The Junior High Band participated in the State Concert Band Festival in Dalton in March and received an excellent rating for the rendition of their selections. In April the States first all district Junior High Band Clinic was held in Rossville with our Junior High Band serving as host.
