Senior Representative-Jan Campbell Senior Representative-Jennifer Morrow Homecoming 1972-1973 remained traditional as senior candidates and class representatives attired in ante-bellum gowns walked across the field to the accompaniment of the Miss America Theme. Rain, an unwelcome condition present for Homecoming the past two years, caused a postponement of the game until Saturday night. Chosen from three Senior finalists. Miss Jeannie Henley reigned as 1972-73 Homecoming Queen. Jan Campbell and Jennifer Morrow, queen finalists, shed undistinguished tears of joy, sadness and relief that it was over. Now the rumors and mudslinging could be forgotten and hopefully forgiven. All three girls had been selected by the Senior class from a group of six semi-finalists. Campaigns carried out the she ' s the best theme with a multitude of vari¬ colored and shaped signs. Campaigners doled out favors with attached candy. Persuasive vote-getting smiles, motor¬ cades with blaring horns and screaming students completed election day activities. Jan Campbell, Jeannie Henley, and Jennifer Morrow nervously await the announcement of the new queen. Homecoming 25
