Sophomores Spirited Sophs are competition for upperclassmen It would be difficult to describe the Sophomore Class of ' 73 without using the word enthusiasm , especially when it came to ex¬ hibiting spirit. A prime example was Competi¬ tion Yell-Outi It was evident that the Sophomore Class, which walked away with first place as Freshmen, was determined to come out on top again. They succeeded in tying the Seniors for top honors because of their infinite enthusiasm. The class sponsors. Miss MioJi and Mrs W alker, gave unselfishly of their time and effort fo make the Christmas Dance a decorative event. Aided by a group of hard-working Sophs, they did an exceptional job. Many Sophomores were honored with various awards. Governors Honors semi-finalists were Richie North in French and Kay Johnston in Social Studies. Above.
