Adding pin points to make the final score, 40 to 14, Joe Stevens is signaled the winner in his heavyweight match. Above left. The seniors of this year ' s wrestling team are (L-R) Jim Harper, Paul Swanson, and Mike Brown. Not pictured is Steve Moreland. After two crushing defeats by Baylor and McCallie, Rossville ' s Blue Fury wrestling team bopped Lakeview ' s Redmen, 40 to 14. This defeat snapped a three match Warrior winstreak. Those gaining wins in the match were Wayne Baker, Tony Osburne, Tony Tucker, Paul Swanson, Steve Brown, Jimmy Harper, Phil Summers, and Joe Stevens. Steve Moreland fought to a 9 to 9 tie with his opponent. Tucker, Harper, Summers, and Stevens beat their opponents with pins; Baker, Osburne, Swanson, and Brown won by the scores of 10-6, 6-5, 12-1, and 14-4, respectively, as once again the Bulldogs proved superior to their cross-town rivals from Lakeview. 128 Wrestling

Baseball Bulldogs roar through first seven games Varsity Baseball. First row: Tim Harvey, Mike Cole, Mike Morrow, Harold Mark Smith, Ronnie McDaniel, Jeff Jones, Dicky Clark, Eddie Ervin, Phil Willoughby, Jerry Brodie, Gary Jones, Robbie Robertson. Second row: Summers, Bobby Butler. The Bulldog baseball team for 73 really came through their first seven games with a roar, winning six games while dropping a 1-0 heartbreaker to Marietta. In this game freshman Bobby Butler pitched a two hitter and struck out seven. As chance would have it, the two hits were back to back doubles in the sixth scoring the only run of the game. Other victories were over Dalton, South Cobb, R. L. Osborne, Douglas County, Sprayberry, and Wheeler. At this point in the season the ' Dog attack is being spearheaded by Jeff Jones, Dicky Clark, Eddie Ervin, and Bobby Butler.
