XREPHA McDANlELS Mrs McDanlels gomed us thls year and very successfully took over the largest pramary class the fourth grade The fourth graders are very happy to have thas cheerful frnendly teacher She rs a grad uate of Ball State Teachers College MABEL CATRON Mrs Catron creates a center of lnterest for her thrrd grade by preparrng a dlsplay taole whuch lately featured a farm Her class consuders her a grand person and teacher and are happy under her supervusron She got her trarntng for teachmg these lrttle tots at Ball State Teachers College HAZEL THARP Mrs Tharp has taught our second grade for two years now and the second graders of thrs year were pleased she came back She successfully uses her knack to handle and tram the young future crtlzens of the natron She attended Blakers Teach ers College whrch lS now affrlnated wuth Butler Un verslty brown oak CATHERINE SHEPARD Mrs Shepard lends a krnd helprng hand to the lrttle tots as they take the bug step of enterlng the first grade of school They learn to play work and get along wnth others Thus ts very Important for future scholars Her alma mater IS Ball State Teachers College V , ' . . Do JEAN BARTON Mrs Barton took over Mrs Acord s classes this year until she was able to return to her teaching Although she was here only a few weeks we are all glad to have had the opportunity to work for her and with her She also is a graduate of Purdue JEWELL RULE Rule starts our grade school boys on their road to a basketball career by teaching them to handle a ball properly He teaches the fifth and sixth grades and supervises their play along with Mr Cox He claims Central Normal College as his school of higher learning JAMES MAXSON Mr, Maxson has started the younger classes on their musical career by starting the iunior band. The junior and main band have performed at our ball games this year, This has added to our school spirit which helps win our games. The students also en- ioy girls' and mixed chorus under his supervision. His musical training came from Butler University. RICHARD COX Mr. Cox serves as our assistant grade school coach. He shares the responsibility of teaching the fifth and sixth grades and also helps supervise the younger classes during their recesses. His lenient sense of humor helps the pupils to enioy their school work. He is a Ball State Teachers' College graduate.
