foreword So Ghat U)e (Day ‘Remember - - Our trustees who make the school possible—the teachers who have helped us through twelve years of work—those sophisticated seniors—our attempts to excel on Broadway—the jolly juniors, silly sophomores, green freshmen, and all the grades—the thrill of taking timed writings—tootin' that trumpet in band—study hall with its continual buzz—the FHA and band's chili supper—the senior paper drives—typing the HIGH SPOT and the last minute rush for news—the FFA trip and its conventions—Jerry's effort to become august —the Sunshine conventions and those long bus trips—Kenny's making that last second shot in the West Side game—spring of '52 when a young man's fancy turns to—graduation (?). Yes, for all these reasons we have published this seventh vol- ume of THE LARS.
