FRESHMEN The freshman class with sixty-two members was the largest class in the school. Most of their extra-curricular activities were either social or athletic. The skating party originally scheduled for December turned out to be a February one. Mr. Miller instructed sixteen boys in the fine art of basketball. Hope Gilman and Audrey Gochenour were the yell leaders and Kenneth Butler was student manager. The class officers were: president, Carolyn Miller; vice president, Larry DeFord; secretary, Barbara Good; treasurer, Evelyn Scolley; and sponsor, Mr. Acord.
