JOYCE AVERY HAROLD AUSTIN MARILYN BLACK BILL BRADEN CONNIE CHITTICK MAX CALLOWAY MARGARET CURNUTT JOHN COOK DARLENE DEVORE RONNIE DEVORE LILA DUNK BILL DUNK DORIS ELLER RONALD GAYLOR ANNETTIE GOOD JUNIORS The juniors, under the leadership of their president—Jesse Shively—and sponsors—Mrs. Acord and Mr. Miller, were very active this year. They had one bake sale and sold ice cream at all the home basketball games as well as participating in other money-making projects. Socially, they had one party at Winifred Purcell's (Oh! that hay ride!); athletically nine boys represented them on the squads. The big event of the year was the class play, directed by Mrs. Marshall, in April. Other officers were: vice president, Phil Lee; secretary, George Burkhalter; and treasurer, Tom Skiles. SOPHOMORES The sophomores, distinguished by their cardinal and white sweaters, started the year with forty members. They held a successful bake sale in October and a certain boy proved to be an ex- cellent cake baker. In November they enjoyed a skating party at Frankfort. Five of the sophomore boys played basketball and Marjorie Gochenour was one of the cheer leaders. For the library ded- ication program, Mary Ellen Harshbarger, Rolland Crow, Marjorie Gochenour, Sue Kingery, Dale Long, Jack Reed, and Don Chittick presented the one act play, A CASE FOR BOOKS. The officers were: president, Kay Barnhart; vice president, Rolland Crow,- secretary, Dale Long; treasurer, Mary Jane Unger; and sponsors, Mrs. Marshall and Mr. Fox.
