On the night of our junior play everything went off smoothly until in the last act when the sound effects crew switched their cues and a shot alarmed the cast two pages ahead of time. Gerald and Norman will never forget how Marjoree really slapped them in the advertising skit. For once Mrs. Rodkey agreed the act was realistic. Helen Buck Charles Yoder And we'll never forget—the time Jerry and Howard were wrestling on the sofa and knocked it over—how Jerry al- ways delighted in throwing Howard off cue by saying, What did you say about the door being locked? —Barb's keeping Howard in suspense by her frequent change of address—the boys dashing in, leaving their hats on, and showing the usual senior courtesy.

They had one bake sale and sold ice cream at all the home basketball games as well as participating in other money-making projects. Socially, they had one party at Winifred Purcell's (Oh! that hay ride!); athletically nine boys represented them on the squads. The big event of the year was the class play, directed by Mrs. Marshall, in April. Other officers were: vice president, Phil Lee; secretary, George Burkhalter; and treasurer, Tom Skiles.
