llElVllNlSClNE lt seems as if it were just yesterday that we, the seniors, entered Ross- ford High School as Freshman. Yes, the past four years have faded away, but the tasks we have accomplished in that time shall not be forgotten. Let us take an inventory of what we have really accomplished. Four years ago when we first began as Freshman, we seemed to be lost in a world of wonderment. But through the efforts of our faithful advisers, Miss Wagg, Miss Schaaf, and Mr. Troutner, and our fine staff of experienced teachers, we soon learned that high school was not a life of dreaded drudgery but instead a pleasant life of cultural experiences. That first year we elected the following class officers to help lead us the way to a very successful year: president, Richard Worchuck, and to assist him, Richard Sevenish as vice-president, as secretary and treasurer, Kathleen Durivage. As Sophomores, we seemed a little more experienced and sponsored such activities as the Sophomore Skating Party which was held at the Memorial Hall in Toledo. Our very capable advisers for that year were Mr. Long and Mrs. Steiner, and our hard working officers were Steve Kovacik as president, Richard Gwozdz as vice-president, Doris Mileski as secretary, and Molly Ann Vavrik as treasurer. ln our junior year, we sponsored the annual l-Hop which was held in the new field house. That year we were also the first junior class of Rossford High School to receive the Curtiss Circulation Company's award for out- standing accomplishments in the field of salesmanship for selling Sl,O23.95 worth of magazines. We also presented our play entitled Junior Prom in the high school auditorium. The play which proved to be a successful one, was under the direction of Mr. Troutner. One of the greatest events of the year was the junior-Senior Ball which was held at the Secor Ballroom. Our advisers that year were Mr. Wolfe and Mr. Butt, and our class officers were Helen Durco as president, Marilyn Zuchowski as vice-president, and Richard Worchuck as secretary and treasurer. And now as Seniors, we have had a very successful year. Among the annual events which we sponsored were the Senior Prom which was held in the new field house and the senior play entitled Cheaper by the Dozen, in the high school auditorium. The play again was under the direction of Mr. Troutner, The greatest event of this year was graduation night. lt was a night that we will remember as long as we live. The notes of the Processional and the recessional march will forever cling to our minds. Our advisers for this final year were Mr. Kohler and Mrs. Chamberlain. Our class officers were Edward Tucholski as president, Richard Sevenish as vice-president, loan Szychowski as secretary, and Douglas Howard as treasurer. Our class colors were blue and white, our class flower was the carnation, and our class motto was, There is always room at the top. lust what the future holds for us, we know not, but let us hope it will be successful, one that we have dreamed for in these past twelve years of school life. Let us hope that some day in the future we may all meet again, and until we do so, may God watch over us and take care of us. The Editor
