OHIO Ross School has enjoyed one of the best years of its existence. A building program was in progress throughout most of the year, however, which handi- capped movement through the building at various times. Excellent cooperation was shown by pupils and teachers during this inconvenience. The completion of the additions to the building has provided excellent music facilities for all grades. It is hoped that many students will use the music rooms and avail themselves of the opportunity to participate in the music activities. The addition to the auditorium-gymnasium increased the size sufficiently to accommodate more gymnasium classes and pupils. Too, more seating space became available for attendance at basketball games, plays, commencement exercises and other public functions. Continued emphasis on improving in- structions Was shown by the faculty. lVlany faculty committees Worked throughout the year to bring the courses of study up-to- date. These projects will enable the Ross School of the future to be a still better school. It is hoped that the seniors, especially, and all students are proud to have been a part of the Ross School of 1957-1958. OHIO Dear Readers: New objectives, horizons, and goals are forever ahead to spur us on to greater and fuller lives. The objectives are beyond the horizons, and the goals we achieve are obtained by looking forward to each new horizon and the objectives we have placed there to work toward. It is our hope here at Ross High School to help you establish sound objectives to make the horizons bright and happy. and throughout your life, in some small way, to make those goals easier to reach. The education the seniors have received. and the undert-lassmen are still working on. is something that cannot be taken from them Rather, it can be added to by further school- ing or vocational training. The amount of education you obtain through life depends upon the desire you, as individuals, have to increase your knowl- edge. The faculty and administration hope they and guidance.
