Birchard Library . . A familiar sight to Andy and Mollie as they walked up from the bus stop at Croghan Street was the Birchard Library. Often they visited the library for ref- erence work. Inside it wasn't all study. Andy looked at magazines as Mollie strolled around looking at the pretty displays before they started their work. 'iff His? do, r Eg Courthouse . . . Not every student has the opportunity to go to school in the county seat. San- dusky County Courthouse is across the street from Ross High School. Its archi- tecture adds an air of dignity to our school. Mollie had admired the court- house from many of the windows of Ross. She has had opportunities to explore the inside of the courthouse through various class projects. 3

FRONT OF SCHOOL Prologue . . Ross High School has helped us, the Seniors of nineteen-hundred and fifty-four, to become well-rounded individuals. As we step forth into an increasingly scientific world we realize the importance of this. Mollie Molecule and Andy Atom know too that not only a knowl- edge of science, but an acceptance of the home and church as im- portant factors in our lives help us to achieve our goal. They will he our guides through this book showing how Ross has helped us in the years we have studied and played here. For six years Andy and Mollie have walked through the doors of Ross High School. In the spring and fall, students sit in the Fountain Park across the street from the school. The scene becomes something they take for granted, but now that they are leaving Ross High, Andy and Mollie recognize the fact that each time they pass the school it will be a reminder of the happy school days they had at Ross High.
