They also make out the absence reports every morning and afternoon, and they do a large amount of Work in the magazine drive. You can come in at any time during the day and find these girls busy in the completion of school material. Under the very able direction of Miss Lee, they learn how to use props such as the comptometer, adding machine, dictaphone, switch board, calculator and the mimeograph machine. You may be sure that when the run of our school production is over and these girls look for parts in a production of greater magnitude they will be fully equipped to handle any Work their employers might Wish done.

That tantalizing odor is one that drifts from the cafeteria every morning as the cooks and their helpers in the first act of this play prepare that good lunch you'll eat at 11:30. The main character in this play is that favorite pie-baker of all the students Who, in real lite, is Mrs. Clara Gategar. This energetic lady bakes all pies and makes all hot dishes. Her delicious cherry and apple pies will long be remembered by the students at Ross. The kids always appreciate that hot lunch although they can't always express it every noon. Now, this is our chance to say thanks, Cookie, for the wonderful lunches. The one who has the supporting role is Mrs. Fanny Carper Who directs the student helpers in their Work. Working part time is Mrs. Lester Overmyer, Who makes all the sand- Wiches. And supervising these three cooks is Miss Birt, our school dietician. These cooks, along with their student helpers, in the second act, Work hard during the noon hour. The students first help serve the food and then comes the final act of Washing the dishes. After another year of preparing fine lunches for the students of Ross High, these students say thanks to the cooks and to their classmates who work hard every day in get- ting these lunches ready.
