I wafwn lt has been a prrvrleqe rn our years at Ross to study under the admrnrstratron of two competent prrncrpals These twc rnen Mr A C Stokes and Mr C R Cooper wer more that leaders however they were ever present gurdes rn our prob lems and relrable trrends to all oi us Mr Stokes served as the executrve head of Ross Hrqh for twelve years rncludrnq hrs one year leave of absence but nervous strarn caused hrrn to resrgn hrs posrtron thrs year After a year of rest Mr Stokes took up hrs new posrtror as a member ot the school s teachrnq faculty He undertook for Whrch hrs years as prrncrpal had prepared hrm well These classes are sorne ot the best rrked rn the currrculum and therr trrendly atmosphere has done much to rrrrprove teacher student relatronshrps When Mr Stokes was granted hrs leave ot absence Mr Cooper became actrng prrn rpal Upon Mr Stokes resrqna tron he was chosen to be the head ot the school Mr Cooper rs the owner of the amrable vorce that usually starts oft each day wrth the radro announcements All of us who have dealt wrth our prrncrpal have found hrns reasonable and wrllrnq to cooperate rn helprnq us wrth our plans and problems In apprecratron of the lrne leadershrp and frrendshrp of these two men the senror class of 1947 rs proud to dedrcate thrs book to them 6 K I O . .
