WALTON MRS. W. B. HOLMES MR. L. E. SPAYD NOT A FORCED DUTY Ever alert for the possible advancement of Fremont Public Schools as is clearly shown by the new stadium at Harmon Field, members of the board never hesitate to better conditions throughout the school system. Theirs is not a feeling of forced duty but one of sincere interest. Many things have been ac- complished: the purchase ot new busses, visual education equipment, and beautification of the building. Due to their efforts the school runs smoothly. They have fulfilled their job faithfully. l9l AT THE HELM Hail! to a man who must command the entire school system of Fremont, yet Who will always take time from his myriad duties to assist us in every way. We shall long remember his patience, his enthusiasm, and his understanding of the problems we, as youths, have had to face. 4 l10l t A. C. STOKES As You Were Combining the duties of both teacher and super- visor, Mr. Bode is well known as the guardian of the blue slip: the only one who understands bi- nomials and why: the comptroller of the Iunior treasuryp and the force behind the Junior prom. He is deserving of the highest recognition, Irons Out Wrinkles - Soitens Bumps His skilled fingers straighten the tangled skein of school affairs. Hard work-and plenty of it-fills his days. Much effort and en- deavor have been expended to get this modern athletic structure . . . a result of the efforts of the community. Since the interest in Ross High athletics, particularly football, has steadily risen, the Board of Education realized the time was at hand to encourage the enthusiastic spirit of the community. This stadium should aid in bringing together the educational system and community activities. This stadium has been erected so that character through athletics may grow. Although the class of l937 may not have been able to enjoy the oppor- tunities afforded by the new stadium, We sincerely hope that the classes to come will make the most of the advantages it offers.
