CLASS PHIIPHEIIY lt's the gypsy in us that causes us to look ten years into the future and predict these fortunes for mem- bers of the class of '54. Austin Alexander heads a concern which manu- factures the newest brand of moonshine . Pat Bruner has iust finished writing a book en- titled Why Girls Should Not Wear Blueieans . Clara Bert Callaham is home on vacation from the State Mental Institution-she's superintendent of nurses there. Willa Beth Carter is a ballet teacher in one of our Western cities. Clara Bell Fisher is a Metropolitan Opera singer. Edith Galloway is under contract with M. G. M.- her next picture is Freckle-Faced Angel . Shirley Galloway has iust received her promotion to Maior in the WACS. Sonny Galloway is an undertaker at the Dead End Mortuary. Christine Jones, an airline hostess for T. W. A., is now on the line to Florida. Olivene Jones and her husband are owners of the Bar-L Ranch in Texas. Mary .lane Jones is married to William Westhimer, a multi-millionaire. Jimmie Lee is owner and publisher of The Toxa- way Time . Approximately five papers per week are sold. Tom Mahoney is starring on the sob TV program entitled View the Remains . Dan McCall is so popular his picture is posted in many post offices where one can read of his notor- ious escape from San Quentin. Dan always was a smart boy. Daniel McCall sponsors a radio program called How to Eat and Stay Slim . Pug: Twclva Jerry McCall, the iet pilot, plans a trip to Alca- traz to visit old schoolmates. Hazel O'Shields is married to a sailor and is re- siding in Norfolk, Virginia. She takes care of her twins, Scotch and Soda , and listens to Daniel McCall's program every day. Bill McKinney is a reporter for the Know It All column in the New York Sun . Donalee Passmore is teaching bookkeeping at Rosman High and generously distributing demerits. Edward Paxton is on the national debating team called l Know Better . Odell Powell still works at the Dixie Store and delivers groceries in the push cart. Perry Fisher now writes a column called Broken Hearted Males in one of the leading dailies. Dora Mae Whitmire is an attractive hat check girl in an expensive New York night club. Lester Gillespie is still the notorious wolf chasing girls. Mae Whitmire is a lady wrestler. Her next bout will be with Minnie Muscles at Madison Square Garden. Clara Dean Parker is a burlesque queen on Broadway. Frantz Whitmire is at the University of Maine teaching students from all over the world the art of beautiful handwriting.
