Six of them juniors and six seniors, these cheerleaders were at every game in their blue and white uniforms. The cheers led by these girls have boosted Roslyn morale. Mr. DuBato sponsors them. Roslyn High School girls' varsity and junior varsity played six games this year. Although not always successful in winning, the teams showed good spirit of sportsmanship. Also the games were fast, furious, and fun. Miss Mac CMiss Doris Mcllhennyj is coach. ASSOCIATION athletic competition: Sports Night when the Blue Team and the White Team competed for the honor of putting over the best show: and girls' basketball and volleyball. New this year, it did extremely well in inter-scholastic meets under the coaching of Mr, Thomas Robinson. sport and financial year. The main duty of this organization is to take care of athletic finances, and they did an excellent job of it. TRACK CLUB Q When Mr. Robinson came to Roslyn, he brought ideas for a track club. The boys went to Madison Square Garden to see track meets and other sports events. Their plans included using the Y.MIC.A. for wrestling and boxing and basketball. '
