My-. The class of 1973 of the Roslindale High School is the recipient of com- mendation, congratulations, and our warmest best wishes. You have worked and cooperated to implement the philosophy, policies and practices of our Roslindale High Schoolg and you have accepted the responsi- bilities and sacrifices involved. We are proud of your achievementsg and we have been inspired and guided by the sensitivity and high idealism you have shown in our hours of mutual sorrow. May the members of the Class of 1973 have the strength, the perseverance, and the ability to give abundantly of their youth, their services, their potentialities, in the militant struggle against intolerance and evil, and to render reciprocal service to family, community, and country. In the words of John W. Gardner, We have in the tradition of this nation a well-tested framework of values: justice, liberty, equality of opportunity, the worth and dignity of the individual, brotherhood, individual responsibility. These are all supremely compatible with social renewal. Our problem is not to find better val- ues but to be faithful to those we profess. With every good wish for the future, Helen M.
